Over 5,200 inspections and deliveries for dealers in September
Newly released data for September from Vehicle Quality Solutions (VQS), the UK’s largest independent supplier of vehicle inspections and logistics, highlights a massive surge in dealership logistics.
In an increasingly competitive retail market, where speed of days to sale and vehicle condition transparency are everything, VQS successfully moved over 5,200 combined inspections and logistics to keep forecourts stocked and remarketing channels flowing.
The data underscores the critical role that integrated inspection-and-transport solutions play. In addition to ensuring rigorous vehicle evaluation upon collection or delivery, VQS provided high-volume support for major retail and remarketing channels, with almost 1,000 movements for digital marketplace franchised dealers and dedicated manufacturer dealer-to-dealer networks.
VQS handles a diverse range of high-demand models, ranging from popular plug-in hybrids like the Ford Kuga PHEV and Nissan Qashqai MHEV to high-end executive battery-electrics, such as the Audi Q8 e-tron and light commercial workhorses like the Ford Transit.
Simon Jackson, managing director at Vehicle Quality Solution, said: “Retailers are under considerable pressure to turn used stock faster than ever, so streamlining over 5,200 inspections and movements in a single month proves we can unlock essential inventory liquidity and give dealers a competitive edge on the forecourt.”
“By combining professional driver movements with thorough condition capture, dealers can minimise stock-holding delays, accelerate dealer-to-dealer transfers, and protect retail margins. Handling complex multi-point inspections alongside point-to-point delivery ensures dealerships receive vehicles in showroom-ready condition.”
