BOPS operating platform

All our field inspection and logistics activity is managed through BOPS. We use an external provider to validate VRN information. All call center activity is driven by the platform and booking information is recorded and customer details securely stored. All inspection reports and POC & POD notes are held and accessed through the platform. The Power Bi reporting function is driven from data generated and stored on our custom built “low code” web-based platform.

All data is held onshore in the UK using nominated Microsoft Azure data warehousing in our private cloud environment.

Customer booking portal

This is a flexible solution that clients can give to their customers to allow them to book inspection and collections at their convenience. The booking portal allows clients to set time limits and fleet customers can benefit from a multiple vehicle booking process. It is intuitive to use and requires customer security checks and declarations to ensure cancellations are minimised. Booking confirmations are automatically generated and the team is on hand to support customers with specific requests if needed.

Inspection application

The VQS inspection application has evolved since 2014 when our first IOS application was launched.

Our current version is the most powerful field inspection application available with many bespoke features. We believe there is no point in having the best inspectors in the industry (which we do!) without providing them with the best technology available. In just 30 minutes they verify fed data, complete checklists, take a suite of standard “beauty shots”, identify where any damage has been identified (using client guidelines) supported with zebra boards and rulers where fine tolerances need to be understood, the type of damage and the most economical repair method to bring the damage back to an acceptable standard. Damage lines created can be supported with multiple images that are high resolution and .URL linked.

Repair lines can be costed using client provided pricing structures. The date and time stamped sign off will include a customer signature.

VQS POC/POD application

The VQS POC/POD Application is a “light touch” version of our inspection application. It enables drivers to take detailed images and capture key information. Signature capture is available at both ends of the journey and any costs associated with a movement are included (i.e. fuel and toll receipts). Images taken are geo-located to evidence the location of the vehicle and mileages are recorded along with the date and time stamping at start and completion of a journey.

Fleet booking platform

Tracking and maintaining fleet assets whilst in life can be a challenge.

Our dedicated team supply customer services, fleet administration and reporting for all demonstrator client activity. To support this we have developed and launched our own fleet management platform that allows the tracking of fleet vehicles from initial order all the way through to disposal. As well as vehicle information, customer details are stored and can be allocated specific vehicles in a priority booking system. The calendar function drives through to the operating platform BOPS to book and confirm delivery and collection dates.

All bookings, in life expenses, and usage information are captured to provide clients with a connected view of the commercial operation of running the fleet. V5C and plating certificate details can be stored against each vehicle on fleet.
